Pro-tip

Leave a stick of deodorant in your desk.

I have like literally everything else, including (but not limited to):

Chapstick ™

Ibuprofen

Acetaphetamine

Eyedrops

Saline for nose

Saline for eyes

Allergy medicine

FACE LOTION

so why I do not have deodorant is stupid.

I find it so incredibly appropriate that you wrote FACE LOTION in all caps. That would be how I would have read it anyway, because it is hilarious that you thought of FACE LOTION but not deodorant :D

Congress receives report on the value of education in humanities

While BO has been a fairly pro-education President, his stress on science education and general vocational education has been worrying. Bush did this as well, which is less surprising. Everything is important and the humanities are valuable to those who are going into the vocations that require specific training like engineering as well as the vocations that do not.

Some good things about pedagogy in higher education as well, such as a need to put teaching on equal footing with research and for top researchers to teach courses that aren't just supplements to their research interests. When I was choosing colleges, I found complaints from students at many top schools about this; professors were either entirely absent in place of TAs or were detached lecturers rambling on about their current or past research.

This isn't surprising to anyone, is it?

Documentary Alleges TWA Flight 800 Cover-Up

"We didn't find any part of the airplane that indicated a mechanical failure," one of the whistleblowers says in a trailer for the film. The former officials allege the explosion came from outside the plane, though they don't speculate any further on the original source.

Another of the whistleblowers, former senior accident investigator with the NTSB Hank Hughes, said in a preview of the documentary that FBI agents were spotted on surveillance cameras going through the hanger where the crash evidence was kept "in the wee hours of the morning... for purposes unknown."
