Malin Ackerman might fit, but she's probably too thin as well.

The problem with the Amazon idea is then you're picking wrestling or boxing girls....and they're not feminine enough and/or can't act.

So who's the equivalent? George Clooney's ex? Stacy Keibler?

One of the Bella twins

Is there actually anyone here who would want to see a Wonder Woman movie?

If DC is truly building towards a Justice League movie, then yes I would. If it is just a "here is a Wonder Woman movie, enjoy" one-off, then probably not

Jamie Alexander would be a good Wonder Woman too, but she is currently playing Sif in the Thor movies. Dont know if Marvel would let her walk, not sure if she has a long picture deal with Marvel.

Adrienne Palicki would be good I think. She was Tyra in Friday Night Lights and was supposed to play Wonder Woman in the TV show that got cancelled before airing.

I think her chance is gone, that pilot is supposed to be horrifically bad

Well, The Counselor has turned out to be quite the disaster.

It's another example of the theory that you should never allow the writer/author of a novel to get too involved in the cinematic process. Sometimes it works. Other times, like this, it can go terribly awry.

Except that isn't what happened here. This was an actual screenplay that he wrote, specifically for the screen. Not a treatment of a previous novel.

But it does appear that McCarthy should stick to writing novels.

Are you calling Prometheus a dud?

It may have made money, but that movie was a mess. I had such high hopes for it, but there are so many plot holes and things that just dont make sense in the scheme of the Alien mythology.

Agreed. Looked amazing though.

It absolutely looked amazing, very pretty movie.

To be fair though, I blame Damon Lindelof's script more than I blame Ridley Scott. To me Lindelof is the master at building epic stories with s***ty payoffs.

I thought Prometheus was great. I didn't really look at it like an Alien prequel, but a movie in that same universe.

I actually loved that a lot of questions didn't get answered. I spent a lot of time with friends arguing about what it all means.

I am all for mysteries and plot twists, but there was some things that just were wtf. The black oil...so it completely destroys and breaks down the engineers for the purpose of distributing their DNA, but turns the guy into a alien impregnator/raging frankenstein monster. And the massive facehugger...um why did it grow into the size of a rhinocerous in a room by itself. The engineer goes crazy when it wakes up from its billion year sleep. why?

There are tons of little minute details that you can pick at, but the black oil purpose and reactions pissed me off the most. It was a big time Macguffin.
