ChiSox_Sonix
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 03:31 PM) The unresolved story issues I agree with, but fan favorite doesnt mean anything, otherwise Herchel would still be around, lol. If I were the remaining group with Rick, I would seriously just go find another prison to take over. Am I missing something? Was Herschel really that much of a fan favorite? That's multiple people here who have said that and my girlfriend surprised me by saying that when he died too. I didn't really like him much at all, I actually found him to be kind of annoying. The "fan favorite" label is strange to me.

I agree being a fan favorite doesn't give you immunity, but it certainly makes your death less likely. Herschel was likeable, but I don't think he's up there with Daryl, who is the #1 badazz . Also, there is really only one true fan favorite IMO, and he is in the spoiler black above this post. Everyone has issues with pretty much every character on the show. Yes if he was off the show the show would lose interest across the board.
Jenksismyhero
Would he really be that hard to replace though? What does he give you besides a scowl and some action scenes?
Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 04:12 PM) Nope. I love the best show on television. Shameless is the best show on TV IMO, but Homeland gets wayyyyy too much underserved hate. People love hating it for the sake of hating it, I swear. He seemed like someone I'd really like to know in real life. Most of the other characters are a bunch of assholes, pardon my french.

He isnt as much of a loner as he used to be
BigSqwert
I'm also curious to find out whether Tyrese finds out that Carol trained the kids to shoot and kill. If it wasn't for her doing that, he'd be dead.

People love hating it for the sake of hating it, I swear. I am very interested to see where Shameless goes from last seasons finale. They very easily could have closed up shop right there and left that ambiguous ending. Im hoping that it doesnt end up that they should have stopped it right there. He was probably the only realistic character on the show (assuming you can ignore that being a vet is the same as being a doctor). His actions and comments were what a real person would say in a given situation. Pretty much everyone else on the show is just laughably over the top and not very believable. Like who? Rick? Carl? Daryl? Maggie? Glenn? Carol? Michonne? Beth? Tyreese? Sasha? TDog? Dale? I can see Lori and Andrea having been over-the-top dumb and the Governor was nutso, but that's about it. People love hating it for the sake of hating it, I swear. Yes, and yes. I would say the best (my favorite) dramas on TV right now, since Breaking Bad has ended, are Shameless, Homeland, Sherlock, Masters of Sex, Boardwalk, Newsroom, Ray Donovan, The Americans, Blacklist, and so on in that order. I'm sure there are ones I am forgetting, because I watch a stupid amount of dramas, but those are my favorite at least.

justBLAZE
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 3, 2013 -> 09:18 AM) Oh Christ, you have to be kidding. I loved season 1 of Homeland, and really liked season 2, but season 3 has been pretty bad up to this point. Too much Dana, too much Crazy Claire Danes Carrie, and totally unbelievable in parts (they literally shot her because she compromised a mission for personal reasons and 2 weeks later is allowed in the situation room during a covert CIA operation. GMAFB). I love that it's finally coming together and I hope it continues, but the first 5 episodes were not good television. Her trying to convince Brody to abort while under distress also far from believable.
