Any tv show like that is going to require quite a bit of suspended belief. High profile mass murders who commit high profile crimes, generally dont escape long.

That being said, I actually enjoy it. But no part of me believes that this could really happen.

I keep thinking that this is just 1 season with this killer and then next season would have to be someone else.

There is just no way that you are going to start attacking FBI agents and get away with it.

Without having seen it, it sounds like Dexter ripoff.

it just has a ridiculous flaw in that this big time serial killer just happens to have access to anybody who wants to come visit him while in jail and discuss things that aren't on the up n up. once ya get past that.......eh I'll take the Americans over this.

Ive never seen Dexter, so I cant comment.

Means,

They try and write that away by saying that he got the military specialist who hacked the prison server. That being said, it didnt make much sense what they did to the guy at the end of the episode.

Joe I have failed you, I offer my life. GMAFB.

I personally am starting to think it's a little over the top crazy. They really hyped this show up a lot and I just can't see how they are going to keep going on with this. They dumped the Chicago Code after one season and I actually thought that show was decent esque.

No, it's not really like Dexter. I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit. Yes, some belief has to be suspended. And the cult activities seem to be a lot of the things you hear about cults all happening within one particular cult. But overall, it's well done, and Kevin Bacon plays the role perfectly.

I saw Lohan's current saga on TMZ.

What do you all think of Lohan? Do you care to follow her story? Will she be dead in 2 years? Will she end up in jail?

I think she's going to screw up again and finally have to serve some real time in a jail for women.

Sunday's The Walking Dead may have been the most intense episode in a while. The scene with Andrea hiding in the factory from The Governor was particularly suspenseful.

I wonder how far they are actually going to go with her being in the chair. Also wondering if Milton will grow a pair before he is killed.

I am very surprised Milton is still alive. The Governor has killed people for less.

I'm sure Milton will "flip" and end up being the one that saves Andrea and/or kills the Governor. This show doesn't do nuance very well and they've been setting up that betrayal for a while. I have to admit, it's been a good few episodes for The Walking Dead. Amazing what can happen when you focus on a few characters and have them do things instead of making sure all 12 cast members can explain what they're feeling for an hour. Though I gotta complain a little - it was really dumb that e (1) Andrea would have ran through an open field, (2) the governor magically knew she was going to an abandoned building and would be inside. Made for good TV though.

Other TV thoughts:

How I Met Your Mother. Oh my. It's got to be one of the worst shows on TV at this point. I haven't watched for a couple of seasons now and I decided to stay in the room while my wife watched the episode last night. Not a single funny bit. Barney is the absolute worst. It was cringe-worthy. When did the show jump the shark and become totally unbelievable/unrealistic? I mean, it's one thing to have Barney act like he can bang any chick he wants, but all the gadgets in his apartment? Really?

1 - Agreed. I yelled at that point actually. And if she had to cross an open field, don't you think she would have gone across a little quicker or tried to be more discreet about it.

2 - I assumed that that abandoned building was on the "path" to the prison and the governor stopped there as a logical "checkpoint" where she may have stopped at since it was in the middle of the night.

I'll add though, I thought the prison was much closer to Woodbury. Right? Why did it seemingly take Andrea the rest of the day, plus over night into the next morning, to get there. Are we supposed to assume it's a 12-16 hour walk there?

the proximity of the prison and woodbury is not very well explained, although she is walking/running an area that is usually driven back and forth by Rick and the Governors people.

But yea, the scene with her running across the field was pretty stupid.
