SexiAlexei
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 10, 2013 -> 10:18 AM) http://pokemonlightplatinum.com/ I've had more fun with this custom ROM than any actual Pokemon game. Am I doing something wrong? When I go to download it, it tells me the file is invalid or deleted.

kev211
So I went out and bought a super slim ps3 to replace my dead ps3 and I like the look and size of it a lot but I hate how cheap the disc loader feels. Also I must say the my team mode in nba 2k13 might be the coolest game mode in a sports video game ever. I'm still debating whether to pick up a new one or just wait. The cheapest I can find is 269.99 with uncharted 3...a game i already have. Picked up Far Cry 3 for the PC this weekend. I've played about an hour the last two nights and so far so good. It's basically Assassins Creed meets Just Cause 2. I was playing Borderlands last night and running people over with the Catch-A-Ride, blowing people apart with rocket launchers, sniping heads off, and setting people on fire with incendiary weapons. Yet, for whatever reason, I don't have any impulse to kill anybody or even hurt anybody. In fact, I never once became upset. Now, Madden or NBA 2K? A little booze in me, and the controller starts flying around the room. Even broke one.
witesoxfan
BTW, I also request that we start taxing paintball (violent game with guns), require an additional fee any time you want to watch football (violent sport), and increase the tax on Nerf guns. Seriously, free and clear for a super fast break dunk? HOLD THE f*** ON THERE, THAT'S SOME RANDOM SCRUB BEHIND YOU COMING IN FOR AN IMPOSSIBLE BLOCK! Oh, you can't hit a 10 foot, wide open jumper? HERE'S KEVIN DURANT HITTING A TURN AROUND, FADE AWAY 22 FOOTER WITH A HAND IN HIS FACE! AND ONE! Oh, you're 95 OVR running back can't get more than 2 yards on a toss without getting gobbled up by a 5'8 180 CB? HERE'S A SHORT, SLOW RUNNING BACK BREAKING TACKLES LIKE HE'S EMMITT SMITH AND IN FOR A TOUCHDOWN! Oh, almost got that interception? Must have been just a second early, right? WATCH ME INTERCEPT A PASS THAT IS 8 FEET OVER MY HEAD! I am seriously getting upset just writing these out

Kyyle23
I always enjoyed when i was blowing out the computer on my franchise mode and all the sudden it decided it had enough. Pick 6, Pick 6, sack, sack, and all the sudden a 35 point blowout is a score and onside kick from becoming a game. And they have the ball. Steve9347
This is why I sold all of my video games - they just weren't even fun. I'll hit the gym or play 5 minutes of GTA on my android or read a book or watch tv. No more games, pls.
witesoxfan
It makes sense, and it's probably something I'll do in the next 5 years, but it's just sports games, which is even stuipder. Sports games are fun but there's no magic or happy ending, except maybe in my player modes when you retire, I have never gotten far enough...it gets boring after you max out allt he stats and you can just go crazy over all the fools. At least games like Skyrim and Borderlands and Fallout and whatever else have such large worlds that there is always something to do and someplace new to discover. GTA to a lesser extent too. That move is why I stopped playing football video games. The no look turnaround pick was the worst thing. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jan 18, 2013 -> 12:46 PM) Only games I've played over the past few years have been the Assassins Creed series, Uncharted series and FIFA Eerily similar to my library. I've started getting into cheaper, shorter downloadable games like Journey and Unfinished Swan. Really hard to rage at those type of games. They keep it simple and look amazing.
