Fans won't go to games after the team clinches because those games are meaningless. The biggest failure of the Sox is that they are unable to get their magic number down to 2 very early and then lose a long string of potential clinchers that fans will flock to, before finally clinching at the end of the season. I at least can't fault JR for hiring guys like Kenny who will do whatever he can in his power to help the Sox win.
