Well, we are back where we want to be. Tied again.

This time ... do we finally take off and win the pennant?

Or do we do the same stuff we've been doing?

We're back from the ashes again.

Does anybody have a gut feeling?

We did the job in sweeping the Angels, no doubt bout it.

Now do we get even with Texas as the Royals and Twins

beat up on each other??

Are we for real this time?

Or will we soon be four out again???

Tell me as the roller coaster continues.

The fact that where in late August and we don't know is what's so frustrating about this team. I'm glad we swept the Angels however. We've got to take ATLEAST 3 of 4 from Texas. I don't really like our chances going into Yankee stadium. Especially with how we play on the road...

The true test will start when we hit the road on Tuesday and head to the Bronx. This team just plays atrocious baseball on the road. I'm looking for a result similar to the last 3 against Anaheim this weekend against Texas. And let's not predict a .500 roadtrip at the worst for next week since 3 of the games are in Detroit. Detroit swept US last time we visited Motown.

With this team you never know. I think you can only take it one game at a time and hope that in the end they are hot and they get to try that hotness in the playoffs.

We need to kick ass vs. Texas and see what happens in the Bronx.

Me thinks the results in NY will be similar to KC's results in NY.

Losses.

We'll have Loaiza starting the series up, which could ultimately anchor the entire series well...Look for at least one victory in the Bronx.

Cmon people, we cant think like that. We need to win 3 of 4 vs Texas and 2 of 3 vs the yanks. It WILL happen. :cheers

The only game you can win is tonight's. One day at a time is the right approach.

As to New York, we have an offday Monday, so if Manuel wants to he can run out Elo, Colon and Buhrle, and save Cotts for the tiggers. You never know with these guys, but it's hard to see losing 3 times in Gotham with those starters. BTW, the Yankee pen sucks.

First, let's worry about Texas, they have been the hottest team in the AL in August. But we do have a decided advantage now that we are home.

I also like the fact that both the Twins and the Royals have to play Anaheim and Texas after their series. The Angels/Rangers are not going to roll over for them. The Angels certainly don't want to go from World Champions to last place in thier division. Texas doesn't want to finish last either. They have something to play for.

Looking to the future, this team has held their own against the better AL teams with the exception of Seattle, and they seem to get up for the big games. The series against the Yankees will be a measuring stick for the White Sox. I think they will be up for the challenge. I don't think we'll see corpseball in the Bronx. But keep your fingers crossed with this bunch. ;)

Things look good to me. The Sox just have to go out and get it done tonight and every night.
