As I stated, typically those numbers do not count the cost of the stadium or bonds on the stadium, which are considered university resources, among the many other things on campus they may use.

Thats pretty much the opposite of what Ive read. When you look through the numbers they almost always include those type of things in the budget.

UW Athletics is requesting a budget of just over $133 million for 2013-14. The figure includes a one-time, $30 million expense for construction costs related to the department’s Student-Athlete Performance Center.

That is Iowa from a few years ago. It goes over the $14mil building related expenses and how everything you listed is part of it.

According to the NCAA definition, direct facilities costs "nclude direct facilities costs charged to intercollegiate athletics, including building and grounds maintenance, utilities, rental fees, operating leases, equipment repair and maintenance, and debt service" (italics mine). The renovations of Kinnick and Carver were partially supported by issuing bonds, so that means the immediate debt payments for those projects should be reflected in the direct facilities cost portion of the budget.

The donations basically make most big10 schools profitable.

IU set a (modern) record for points in a game with 73. I don't care if it was against Indiana State, we only beat them by 7 last year. Defense is still a big concern, missed wayyyyy too many tackles.

Tevin Coleman looked damn good.

I've also never seen a player call for a fair catch on a punt return, and then get decked by a player on the kicking team before the ball even falls out of the air. The Indiana State player rightfully got ejected, what a moron.

So much for a surefire #1 pick.

He's a one play per series guy. I wouldnt waste a top pick on him IMO. Maybe he'll improve or maybe he didnt take to the SC conditioning coaches, but he was non-existant for long stretches, just like last year.

Dude WTF are you talking about. FCS teams are automatic wins, at least by 50.
