Didn't Chad Johnson get issues about that from the NFL?

He couldn't change it until the offseason or til they ran out of jerseys. I guess that Whitner doesn't have jersey sales issues.

if Whitner wants his jersey changed this year, he has to buy the entire stock of current jerseys with his name on them, or wait until next season for jerseys to be printed with his new name

Don't want to put pressure on Jay, but wouldn't mind seeing the Bears pick up Josh Freeman.

I can't believe the Bucs front office is letting Schiano run this circus. That meat head bozo might be in his last pro job ever.

If he gets cut(has this happened already?) I wouldn't be apposed. I wouldn't wanna give up a draft pick for him though. Also don't think the bears have the 8M or whatever he's owed this year to pay him.

It's actually kinda remarkable how few places there are for Freeman to go.

Would Buffalo really pick him up with their commitment to manual, even if Manual is out a long time?

Browns - they are probably going to draft a QB or give Weeden one last year with Hoyer out

Tennessee - Maybe

Jax - I can't see them doing anything productive this year.

Arizona - Maybe.

Minnesota - Maybe

It's amazing how many teams have pretty stable QB positions now.

Please no. Freeman is pretty talented.

Freeman would be the worst QB in the division, but he'd be a step up from Ponder and Cassell. So yeah, I'd rather not see Minnesota get an actual QB.

Listening to 670 yesterday whoever is on during the 4 o clock hour brought up a rating system done for the O and D Line on mmqb.com (monday morning qb).

To no surprise the Bears rank 2nd to last on the DL getting pressure on just 17.5% of passing plays (Just .4% higher than the 0-4 Giants)

Perhaps to some peoples surprise the Bears OL actually ranks 24th in the league. The 68 hurries they've given up is 3rd worst in the league, just 3 less than the Eagles who are in last.

The sacks haven't been there yet, and I think that's a testament to Trestman and Jay for getting the ball out a lot quicker than last year. Last year a good deal of those hurries become sacks.

He is? This is news to me.

Dalton's not a pro-bowl caliber QB (although he did go to one...because pro bowls are a joke), but I don't think he's terrible.

He's bad, and cincy media largely think this is his season to prove himself to be that pro-bowl caliber player.

Even if Andy Dalton is bad, which I don't think he is, you don't replace him with Josh Freeman thinking he'll somehow be better.

No, but you have him as his backup. Freeman isnt going to be handed a starting job anywhere.

If EJ Manuel's injury is serious, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills went after Freeman as their starting QB for the rest of the year.

Speaking of, I havent seen anything definitive on that yet.

Obviously I'm no doctor but I almost think that he was hit right above the knee where it f***in kills for a few days but nothing that'll keep him out for a long period of time.

I thought Hoyer's looked much more serious.
