chw42
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 03:33 PM) They were on the 4 yard line on 3rd down. I thought Lacy got them down to the 1 or 2 yard line. Either way, that game should be over right now but it's not.

Kyyle23
So, say the Bears end up 9-7 and the Packers end up 9-6-1. Bears division record 3-3 and Packers 3-2-1. Bears and Packers split 1-1. Who would get the playoff nod? (Pretend the Lions finish 8-8)

It works out at 9.5-6.5 for a record. It is better than 9-7.
chw42
Dez Bryant clearly caught a ball and they ruled it incomplete. They didn't even bother to review it since it was under 2 minutes.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 10:16 AM) Loved seeing Conte blown up on the Austin td and taking Shea out with him Conte is absolutely brutal this year. Conte, Bush, and Hester can let the door hit em on the ass after this year. They are all brutal football players, imo.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 10:19 AM) I think that interference call was weak. First, I think the actual interference was questionable, and no way he catches that ball inbounds. He actually did catch the pass. It was an awful interference call. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 12:10 PM) why are they blaming that on McCowen? It went right through Bush's hands. Wasn't a perfect throw but was definitely catchable. That was one of the big difference plays in the game. Absolutely brutal drop by Bush and the 4th down idea was atrocious too. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 12:20 PM) Their over pursuit of plays is their undoing. Traps kill them every time They also have none of their starting opening day DT's in. They have zero depth at DT. I was f***ing pissed when we didn't sign Idonjie and he'd have made a big difference, imo, in our line this year cause his versatility would have been huge given the injuries. Worse yet the guy we signed instead of him retired before the season started.
Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Jake @ Nov 24, 2013 -> 01:15 PM) I hate this team. Should note that fair refereeing might have yielded us a win here though No way. They gave up like 300 rushing yards. It should have been closer but we got clocked. Awful defense. Just brutal. I was f***ing pissed when we didn't sign Idonjie and he'd have made a big difference, imo, in our line this year cause his versatility would have been huge given the injuries. Worse yet the guy we signed instead of him retired before the season started. Izzy is a backup, the guy has 7 tackles this entire season and has had injury issues as well. He is no spring chicken either. In short, he wasn't going to save this mess in front of us. You are right, the Bears are missing their top 3 DTs and that is killing them. I get that, I was just making an observation that since the D line was imploded by injuries, the run game has destroyed them with back cuts and traps because players like Shea, Bostic, Greene and whoever is playing DT at the moment have absolutely no gap discipline and over pursue plays and take themselves out. Conte, Bush, and Hester can let the door hit em on the ass after this year. They are all brutal football players, imo. You forgot the good major, did not hear his name once. That major is Major Wright. He and Conte are god awful as is Bush. The rest of the defense is doing what they can but those asswipes were being counted and they both suck.
