Matt Flynn wins in Dallas. Something Favre and Rodgers couldn't do.

Matt Flynn is going to end up having a really weird career.

Funny how systems and coaches can make players better or at least get the most out of their potential. Safe to say he has a job in Green Bay for the next five years.

Minnesota seems to have figured some things out. That last Sunday of the season could be epic in the NFC Norris.

Man, Bears coverage is obnoxious this week. One thing I've hated about the Cutler era is how so many sports writers just write their article on their stance seemingly unrelated to actual play.

Cutler didn't play great, he was probably squeezing ball too tight and pressing in first half.

But that said, Cleveland is a much much much better D than Dallas, and turnovers aside we drove it easily on them all day.

Edit: But one thing that clearly Jay probably will never have is being comfortable in pocket. You could definitely tell the difference where Jay missed the opportunity to step up that McCown has made so easy. It buys the O so much time and try to guard Marshall/Jeffrey/Bennet for 6 seconds

He had a 102.2 QBR. He played quite damn well.

First of all, I think you are confusing 'passer rating' and 'QBR'. QBR has a maximum of 100, so I'm guessing that 102.2 was his passer rating (which is still good).

Overall, yes he played a good game. Gotta cut down those interceptions though.

Pretty awesome considering his first half QBR was 73. I am pretty sure he was 15/15 throwing to Alshon and both Bennetts

K, but you just repeated that back without saying Great which really undercuts your point in nitpicking word choice.

He played well enough for the media to back off of him for a week.

He should have, but all the articles I'm reading really are still not letting this crap go. You'd think Flynn also torching Dallas D and Cutler playing well vs. a great D on the road would end this crap , but page hits and all.

He probably still has nightmares about the lines he's played behind for the last several years. Plus its his first game back in awhile. Lost on all the women on Facebook who decided to compare McCown and Cutlers stats the last two weeks is something you added right there, Cleveland's defense is much better than Dallas's patchwork crap. He clearly settled down in the second half.

My favorite play yesterday wasn't even Jeffrey's catch it was Marshall jumping over Joe Haden and then stiff arming him, only to later be first WR to score a TD on Haden this year. He was playing like a man yesterday.

Shorts scored on him 2 weeks ago

And while the 1st pick was a bad decision, the 2nd pick most likely doesn't happen if he's been playing the last few weeks.

After he shook off the rust he was damn awesome the rest of the game.

Also, not sure if it has been mentioned yet but Jay leads the league in 4th quarter qbr this season.

Marshall destroyed Haden yesterday, it wasnt even fair. after Marshall caught his TD, Haden just stood up and stood there like "what can i do?"

And then Haden added injury to insult

The first one needed a better throw and it's a td. Decision was fine.
