At the same time, the refs weren't calling any of the holding or delay penalties on the Packers, so I could give a s***.

The unnecessary roughness call on Shea was a total crock of s*** too. I couldn't believe that.

The Packers played better and ultimately deserved the win, but the refs called that game in favor of the Packers.

That call was so huge. That is three points there. Though none outweigh the seven points the defense gave away by running past a live football.

It probably was a bad call, but that's the NFL these days. If you hit a QB at all after the play you're gonna get penalized. We'll just call that a wash for the ridiculous unnecessary roughness called on the Packers on the opening kickoff. There were only I think 5 or 6 penalties combined all game so it was pretty obvious they were just going to let them play.

The unnecessary roughness call was fine. If you think that you can just pile on a QB after the play is over, in this modern NFL, you haven't been paying attention.

The NFL protects QB's to the max and I am fine with that. No one wants to watch a league full of Jason Campbell and Matt Flynn.

It's not like it was 3 free points. The Packers would have been kicking a field goal either way, it just would have been a 50 yarder instead of a 33 yarder. Even with the conditions, the way Crosby has kicked this year he would have had a reasonable shot to make it.

First of all, an open handed punch does not exist. That would be called a slap. And this "open handed punch" occurred right after he was "open handed punched" first. Just play on. It does not warrant 15 yards.

.@DanMcNeil670 @MattSpiegel670 if peppers is cut or released, it would actually be a $9.8M savings to the 2014 cap.

Wow, now that's one of the most blatant attempts to confuse the point that I've ever seen.

Elway helped make that man a lot of money.

What do you call jumping on a player after he has been tackled?

He didn't do anything to crazy, but we all know what Shea had in mind when he jumped on Rodgers.

Eh, I don't know. He really just kind of fell on him and seemed to be trying to pull up. If he was trying to hurt him he would have actually laid a shoulder into him. I didn't really care for the call. I would have been pissed as a Packer fan if it were switched around and the Packers were getting penalized.

Oh hey look lets get finicky with descriptions because you dont like the call.

Second guy swinging always gets busted, we all know this. Hit to the head always warrants 15 yards. If the ref saw both hits it would have been offsetting penalties, but obviously he didnt. It wasnt ridiculous that the call was made, it was unfortunate that he missed both hits and only saw the second.

If they want to call those little ticky tack slaps to the helmet/face mask every time, there would be ten of them a game.

He didn't jump on him. He was running in for a tackle and rolled over Rodger's side/butt. There was absolutely nothing dangerous about that play.
