chw42
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 1, 2014 -> 08:41 PM) Are they gonna give up on him that quick? He didn't seem awful. I thought he was pretty good given the hand he was dealt. A 83 QB rating for a rookie and a 19/9 TD/INT ratio is pretty impressive.
dasox24
I'm just glad Lovie isn't in the division. Detroit's defense would have been scary with him. And they have enough offensive playmakers for him not to mess it up.
LittleHurt05
So it's supposed to be really f***ing cold in Green Bay on Sunday. Like potentially Ice Bowl cold.

That championship game vs the Giants a few years back had a game time temp of 0 with a negative 23 wind chill. Sunday should be colder. I'll never forget how red Tom Coughlin's face was. Steve9347
Well, I think the fact that the deal was done this quickly shows the mutual interest for him to stay. Here's hoping he can stay healthy and have the season we've been waiting for next year.

GoSox05
The years really don't matter, it will be the guaranteed money. How much do you give a QB who hasn't thrown 20 touchdowns in a season since 2010.

cabiness42
There was no reason for either party not to do this. Jay Cutler is not going to find a starting job with another team that has offensive weapons anywhere close to what the Bears have. The Bears are not going to find an available starting QB that is any better than Jay Cutler. I just hope that Jay agreed to a cap number that gives the team the ability to fix the defense. True, I just don't want Cutler to be the guy for the foreseeable future. I'm nervous to see what the financial terms of this deal are.
