Cutler day on Jaws' QB rankings. Jaws has always been the most optimistic pundit when it comes to Cutler, but he's losing faith.

Maybe a competent offensive mind and line can help him out.

No part of that is a good thing.

Going to be so awesome. All day driving but we'll take turns. About 14 hours from Minneapolis, which is where we'll take off from.

It has to. We saw that giving him 1 legit weapon meant he would only focus on 1 weapon at the detriment to himself. This year he should have more weapons, more time, better offense. This is where we really get to see who he is as a QB.

I think Jaws laid it out pretty well.

Trestman can give him a good scheme, but it is demanding on the QB. The version of Jay Cutler that we know has bad footwork and is a slow (yet aggressive) decisionmaker. This means that he will either take instruction and become much better as a result...or this offense will magnify his weaknesses. It is hard to prognosticate when it comes to Jay, but for the most part he leaves us wanting, which is why his ranking fell this year.

So Michigan City should be right about your half way point.

He is going to Buffalo, which coincidentally is one big fat dump.

Well we have to drive through either Detroit or Cleveland, which, regardless of which we take (Cleveland is shorter and keeps us in the US the entire trip), will be the biggest dump we see.

Ever the optimist.

Always...While the mods change my name (I have a request in) perhaps they can also change my little tagline to "Ever the optimist".

I just really think Cutler is set up to succeed. I think they've done enough with the OL to keep Jay upright A LOT more often. The addition of a competent TE, who I believe will be even better here than he was in NY, will be huge. Plus I really do love the Trestman hiring, if for no other reason than the fact that he loves to throw the RB the ball (if the past is any indication) and Matt Forte is one of the best receiving RBs in the league. Getting Forte out in space more often should be a huge plus for the offense.

Do you have a passport? If so the Windsor/London/Toronto/Niagara trip is a million times better than the US version.

Just PM a mod and they'll knock it out. What's the new name?

There is literally zero excuse remaining for Jay Cutler not to have an all pro season this year. If he can't do it this year, he can't do it.

Yup, cleveland and detroit basically suck big donkey balls, though I can recommend at least 2 cant miss restaurants if thats your thing. If I told you the best corned beef sandwich Ive ever had is in cleveland I bet nobody would believe me.
