flavum
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 10:55 AM) The Dodgers are only 2.5 GB. The Angels, on the other hand, have a long ways to catch the A's, Rangers and all the AL East. That NL West is a joke. MLB is going to look pretty bad if the winner of that division is 80-82, while two of the NL Central teams are playing one game to get in the playoffs. Anyway, I'm glad the Dodgers suck. caulfield12
QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 4, 2013 -> 10:06 AM) That NL West is a joke. MLB is going to look pretty bad if the winner of that division is 80-82, while two of the NL Central teams are playing one game to get in the playoffs. Anyway, I'm glad the Dodgers suck. They DID suck. They don't anymore. Two weeks ago, they were 12 games under .500. They have Hanley Ramirez and Matt Kemp back. That makes a big difference, obviously. They're still missing Carl Crawford. Plus, Greinke and Billingley were out....Billingsley for the year. Edited July 4, 2013 by caulfield12

Swingandalongonetoleft
Wow, I go downstairs to fix myself a sandwich while I'm watching Red Sox/Angels- LAA losing 7-3 in the bottom of 9, but Boston's guy just hit someone to load the bases. I come back, and it's the top of the 10th. *edit* I see now that it wasn't even a grand slam. I hate both of these teams. caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2013 -> 09:37 PM) Carlos Gomez with the play of the year to end the Reds/Brewers game Despite the impending Braun situation, Weeks falling apart and Aramis Ramirez going down like he was shot by a sniper just moving inches to his left, Carlos Gomez looks a LOT better than any player on the White Sox minor or major league roster. HIGHEST OBP on the Dodgers? Puig? Hanley Ramirez? Nope, Zach Greinke. Edited July 9, 2013 by caulfield12
