FlaSoxxJim
Hanging with my Peeps — Music Version OK, Here’s a music trivia idea that popped into my head a few days ago driving in the car and listening to the radio. I have been rolling them out 10 at a time on FB, but you lucky SoxTalkers get to see 60 questions at one go (eta the list now includes a full 100 songs. Might throw some bonus songs in there if I come up with a few more good ones). Try to identify the specific songs that reference each of these sets of people by name. Some are very easy, some are pretty hard, and most of them are firmly in dinosaur rock territory because that’s what I know. Feel free to add your own songs to the list and let’s see how well you all do. Good Luck! 1. Vera, Chuck and Dave 2. Candy and Ronnie 3. Weird and Gilly 4. Babs and Clean Willie 5. FlaSoxxJim
100% correct responses from Leonard Zelig, and good call on using the spoiler tags early on to give everyone a chance. Quinarvy's response is also correct. Edited February 27, 2013 by FlaSoxxJim

FlaSoxxJim
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 27, 2013 -> 10:54 AM) There's a Rush song in there. Indeed there is I had the Oaks and the Maples as a hint for a different Rush tune in an earlier draft but they didn't make the final cut. FlaSoxxJim
I edited the OP with strikethroughs to indicate which songs have been correctly identified. Still keeping the spoiler tags intact so latecomers can give it a go. Speaking of latecomers, I think Tex and Big Ed could make short work of some of these if they jumped in. 35 songs correctly identified, 25 left unanswered. Not bad. SS, the last Beatles song has been identified but I see there is there's still a Wings song in the mix.
