Cali
At the beginning of the year all the "experts" we're saying how weak the Central was gonna be. I bet none of them expected such a tight 3 team race that we have going on right now. Hell they're a bunch of tight races in baseball this season. (AL Central, NL Central, AL Wild Card, NL Wild Card) It's another reason why I Love Baseball

Well...I agree that the AL Central race is going to be the most exciting of all, but at the same time, don't confuse "great race" with "great division". In virtually any other division in baseball (save the NL Central), all 3 teams (KC, SOX, MIN) would have been buried long ago.

greg775
It certainly has been an interesting race. I still have no idea what's going to happen. I do think we have set the precedent of being a horses*** road team and that's why I think we're ultimately doomed. I can't see us beating the Yanks on the road and don't we have to play boston who will kick our ass? Hope I'm wrong. If anybody has a good read on our team fill us all in on what's going to happen the rest of the way.

That is very good assessment of the immediate future for the White Sox.

Pull up records of the AL West in the early 90's I believe we had the second best record in baseball and missed the playoffs. In the end they don't look at the records just as long as you fulfill the requirements for postseason play.
