Book it.

Sig bet, in fact. If the Sox don't win by 100 runs, I will make my signature a David Bowie reference or a poorly crafted cartoon pun about PHT.

Looking forward to that sig

Man, I was hoping we could get Gillaspie some time and see if his spring hotness carried over into the regular season. Still, getting Kepp rolling in the #2 spot is important

Ozzie Guillen would have had 3 backups playing today.

Ventura has no one shuffled out, and last year that may have helped burn the team out.

Can't there be a happy medium?

As long as we don't do Sunday Teeball lineups, I'm fine with whatever. What a horrible strategy.

I dont think it matters today. second game after a day off, i dont think a sunday lineup is really necessary

We have an offday next monday and just had one so it's certainly ok to play the regulars today, but that is followed by 20 games in 20 days assuming no rainouts/DH's. I wouldn't mind getting one of the bench bats into the lineup each of the next 3 days at some position.

@MDGonzales

Pre-game video looks like it's here to stay.

................................................................

we've become the laughing stock of the league just by one video.

Come on Balta, the guys just had an off-day on Tuesday and it's the third game of. the season. Do you really think Ventura needs to give them a breather right now?

I'm ecstatic that Ventura is leaving all the regulars in today. As you said, Ozzie would have had 3 backups in today. Let the regulars get into a rhythem early on and go for the sweep. I'll take the chance at some early momentum instead of worrying about a guy burning out after playing 3 games in 4 days.

STATS, LLC also reports Flowers joins Sherm Lollar (1958) as only catchers in team history to hit HRS in 1st two games of season.

Agreed. It's not like Guthrie is a "tough righty" anyway
