Glad I just got back to civilization in time to miss this one. Seemed like the type of game that always used to go in our favor at home against the M's. Noticed that Keppinger's hot spring was for naught, as predicted with ST stats. It is nice to see Ramirez and Beckham getting off decently...

Quintana won't have as much rope as some might believe...unless Danks isn't ready to come back as soon as predicted or Axelrod implodes immediately.

The organization has to realize Santiago has more upside as a starter than either Quintana or Axelrod, IF IF IF he can keep his pitch counts down (of course, it's not like Danks didn't have the same exact problem/s with only going 5+ innings since 2008).

You don't mess with a perfect lineup.

Perfection.

PERFECTION, fellas!

Not 11 hits, but 16 in 2 wins!

And almost all runs scored from solo homers!

Don't mess with PERFECTION.

IT'S A

GREAT

NEW

FORMULA.....

and Ventura SHAN'T MESS WITH IT!

P.S. - And yes; 2-2 is perfection as much as .....81-81 is perfection.

Thank you Mr. Obvious Troll . The point was 2 wins and no losses was perfection obviously 2-2 is not. Is your point just to troll or do you have suggestions for the lineup ? Constructive criticism is respected. Your style is not.

I have style?

I've wasted tons of sentences whining about the need to put $ and resources into the draft over the years. Our farm is a perennial joke. I was one of the original Greg Walker haters on this site, before he was FINALLY let go.

This team is a long shot - ...this.....this.... is not a good Chicago White Sox team. At all. And it's stupidly expensive. And we have nothing to trade. We have to ride out albatross contracts (Dunn and Rios), it's frustrating to watch them, yet I love them because of their laundry.

I really don't like the players on this team.

Most of them...not very good baseball players.

Don't get me wrong - I'll still root for them to the end...but I won't say stupid ass s*** like you do....

And, unless this is WSI, I should be able grieve that whatever style and "constructive criticism" I have to offer, is exactly NOT what the Sox are interested in implementing.

SO you have a problem with optimism . All I said was the lineup wouldn't be changed the next day and it wasn't. Being right is stupid ? 2-0 is a perfect record is it not ? SO I was right about that. I could've gave reasons like it was only 2 games into the schedule so really no need to start platooning but instead I chose to enjoy my teams optimal record after 2 games. Guess that's the stupid ass s*** you have a problem with.

It's not my fault you can't find enjoyment in something you love. I hope for your sake that you don't predict or expect failure from other things in life that you get frustrated with and claim to love.

Gripe all you want just don't direct it at me and we'll be fine.

Oops. I know from past experience if you keep this up, you'll probably be getting 30-60 days in internet jail. Little nasty tone to your post.

You said, "This is not a good White Sox team at all" and you really don't like the players on this team.

The reality is the team is OK. The starting pitching is above average once Danks gets back and the relievers look rejuvenated this year (when they only go one inning).

I think the team has pretty darn good defense, with the cold weather the reason our outfielders have made some big time blunders.

Tonight was our first lousy loss of the season in four games. After rallying, we blew it by not wrapping it up in the bottom of the ninth and made a mistake letting Jones pitch a second inning.

But the team is as good potentially as last year which means this is an above .500 team. It's not a bad team. Not a great one, but one that could contend in this weak division, though we won't be up for the wild card.

So calm down in your posts. Don't worry. Be happy.

Not to mention the awesome work by Jones giving up those 2 runs.

I understand why he was in last night, but Jones with a game on the line is asking for trouble. He's a project not a back-end of the bullpen guy.

The handling of the bullpen is bad already.

Jones in the opener and why no reed last night?

Lindstrom (or Crain) should not be used when they are 5 runs down. Their usage has to be watched more carefully.

Because we were running out of arms. You only had Reed, Thornton, & Santiago left. And let's be honest, Santiago pitched 3 innings the day before and may be needed today if Axelrod pisses himself. That leaves you with two relievers for an open-ended game, one who is your closer. You had to get multiple out of Jones at that poin in the game plus he looked absolutely nasty in the 9th. I 100% support Robin's decision.

Also, we had 12.1 innings of scoreless relief coming into the 10th inning. That's f***ing amazing and an early positive to take away, since most of these giys are doing it with plus stuff and not skoke and mirros. However, our bullpen was bound to give up some runs and last night was when it finally happened. I know it's a tough way to lose, but it's hard to get mad at Jones. He did what was asked of him in the 9th and ideally wouldn't have been there in the 10th if we had more guys a available.
