BridgeportHeather
I've been experiencing some pain between two of my upper back teeth whenever I either chew something on it or place something cold right by it. I know I can't have a cavity between these two teeth, since I've already had fillings in both teeth. I tried flossing a lot between them earlier today, but it didn't seem to help. Do any of you medically inclined ones have any advice?
Cerbaho-WG
Part of a filling could have broekn off. My filling became really sensitive for about a week, bu that subsided. Give it some time.
CubKilla
Wisdom teeth might be coming in if you haven't had them pulled.
BridgeportHeather
Wisdom teeth might be coming in if you haven't had them pulled. Wisdom teeth come in at the way back of the mouth, I think. The pain is happening near the middle-back. Could a wisdom tooth possibly affect the feeling near teeth further away from it? Your wisdom teeth could be impacted if they didn't come straight through the gums and may be applying pressure on your other teeth if they came in that way. You may have to have your wisdom teeth taken out to correct the situation. That's what I'm doing Sept. 5....viva nitrous oxide!

The good thing about it is that you'll be able to eat all the ice cream in the world after that...The bad thing is no T-bone steaks for over a week!!! Wong & Owens
What's with all the wisdom tooth horror stories? I had my top two removed a couple years ago, and I was only given Novocaine. I ate a beef sandwhich 2 hours later(it took me quite a bit longer to get it down though) and was out drinking that night. Yes, it was sore for days afterwards, but it certainly wasn't all that bad. If they're impacted, that's a different story though. Impacted = mal y trieste.

I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 years ago and it was horrendous. My problem was my bottom 2 - they were impacted. My face stayed swollen and bruised for 2 weeks after the surgery. As it turned out, the dentist said that mine were so bad that I should have been in the hospital for the surgery. My bastard bf had only 2 wisdom teeth and when he had them removed he went to work that night without any pain at all. Prick. Heather - it could be your sinuses or allergies as well. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago when my allergies blew up and it subsided when my sinus congestion did.

Had them pulled on a Thursday and I was out Saturday night.

He says mine are like too far to the side that you can't get them out normally, so I'm guessing that means impacted. Its kind of weird cause my teeth were always straight and I never needed braces.
