Capn12
The pitching has been 'decent' enough this year, could you imagine if we could actually hit whatsoever?

Jake
I'm mystified with Kep's strikeouts, even after he's recovered a bit at the plate.

Soxfest
Sox make every struggling pitcher look good . 10 in row retired from a guy with a 10.00 plus ERA coming in. Edited April 17, 2013 by Soxfest
Jake
Our approach is pretty troubling, especially given that a lot of the players are not playing like themselves. This team was never going to be really high on base, but guys like Dunn that ALWAYS take walks aren't even doing that. Players like Keppinger that NEVER strike out are striking out. I have to think that will settle down a bit.
Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 07:30 PM) Sox make every struggling pitcher look good . 10 in row retired from a guy with a 10.00 plus ERA coming in. Yes, because Josh Johnson is some no-name scab with no history of success.
Jake
I think it's obvious that Axe is a major league ballplayer. He should be able to always find a place as a 5th starter or perhaps 4th on an NL team. The idea of him being our 5th starter isn't crazy in and of itself, it only seems so bad when it is obvious he is at best our 6th best starter. Soxfest
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 07:33 PM) Yes, because Josh Johnson is some no-name scab with no history of success. He has pitched like crap in both earlier starts.

Capn12
Argggggggggggggh. Damnit, Dylan even with that HR, has pitched fine, but we're still dicking around and have no idea how to hit.
Baron
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 07:37 PM) He has pitched like crap in both earlier starts. You expected that to continue? His command is pretty impressive today.

Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 16, 2013 -> 07:37 PM) He has pitched like crap in both earlier starts. No doubt about it. Two bad starts for an all-caliber pitcher definitely means he's not good anymore. We should have at least 8 runs off this scrub.
