The Ginger Kid
Should be a real pitchers duel out there today. But at least the Sox will be rockin the '83 jerseys, so let's all remember that very famous poem: "It's easy to grin when your ship comes in and you've got the stock market beat. But the man worthwhile is the man who can smile when his shorts are too tight in the seat". Now start playing some f***ing baseball for a change. Jake
I like this strategy of "alternate the two left-handed CFs so that neither can get in a rhythm" Or...maybe Tekotte will start tomorrow

Noonskadoodle
The real question is....Will Floyd retire Mauer at least 1 time today? Mauer absolutely OWNS him. .486 with 3 homers.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 11:48 AM) I do not get Wise around at all with Danks up. I don't get the Danks call up, nor how great people on this board apparently thinks he is. Wise is currently a better major league player.

The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 09:50 AM) I don't get the Danks call up, nor how great people on this board apparently thinks he is. Wise is currently a better major league player. More experienced, yes. Better? Not in my opinion. Besides, if you're right and he really isn't better than an aging journeyman who makes the occasional contribution, then let's know it. Give him playing time in the majors. If he's a POS the sooner they know it the sooner they can move on.

WilliamTell
The Fox Sports North intro was terrible today. Talked about the rivalry between the Sox and Twins. Started off like, "For every David, you need a Goliath, for every Hafield, you need a McCoy, for every Torii Hunter, you need a Jamie Burke." Then proceeded to play the collision from like 10 years ago. Those guys just do not forget about that play. Then showed highlights from other sucessful Twins moments but seemed to forget to show the Sox winning the World Series in 05 or losing the play in game to Chicago in 08.
