ChiliIrishHammock24
Jason Coats, like a 29th RD pick last year, is having a nice start to his pro career. Batting .382 right now in Kanny. Has 2 doubles today. However, he's their DH, so that's not encouraging.
danman31
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 03:39 PM) Jason Coats, like a 29th RD pick last year, is having a nice start to his pro career. Batting .382 right now in Kanny. Has 2 doubles today. However, he's their DH, so that's not encouraging. He played RF in the first game. Could just be a doubleheader thing. That's true, I knew that too, when I was looking up his bio. Apparently I immediately forgot. Ha.
ChiSoxJon
Jason Coats went a combined 5-7 in his two games today raising his average to .371. He did so with 3 doubles and scoring twice. Despite his organization leading AVG. and hits, I'd still like to see some power before they promote him too WS.

flavum
QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 06:58 PM) Hawkins is a complete disaster right now. They need to start over with him. Move him to Kannapolis, and explain to him that the next 3-4 years of his career, he will be learning his craft of being a professional baseball player. Take one year at a time at each level, and come 2016-2017, he'll be 22-23 and possibly a very good major league player. ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Apr 21, 2013 -> 07:58 PM) Hawkins is a complete disaster right now. Maybe he needs to stop retweeting and reposting everything that has his name on it. I think he may be a little too obsessed with being a superstar right now.
