ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 03:51 PM) So game cast is showing Konerko's fly out as being past the wall. Is it off that far or what happened here? Stubbs climbed up on the fan deck to catch it.

caulfield12
Last year, the White Sox were very effective at limiting the running game against opponents. Even AJ was decent throwing out runners, and Flowers was really good, especially the first half of 2012. What changed? It's like every opponent has a license to run wild on us. It's not like we have Contreras and Garcia out on the bump every inning, or Jenks. Edited April 24, 2013 by caulfield12

caulfield12
The downside is the bullpen being pushed to get 12 outs isn't exactly a recipe for success. Let's just hope we don't see Thornton or Veal...but the odds of that happening are about 1.8%

Speaking of Bullpen ERAs...... Cardinals have the #1 Starter ERA (2.38), and the #29 Bullpen ERA (5.37). Crazy.
