fathom
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 07:54 PM) Tyler seriously just looks at meatball pitches sometimes. He's a "guess" hitter, it would appear.

ChiliIrishHammock24
If they were willing to bunt Tekotte to 2nd with 1 out, why wouldn't they be willing to bunt Tekotte AND De Aza over with 1 out? Do they not trust Rios?

Do they not trust Rios? You almost never sacrifice with 1 out, so DeAza was most likely bunting for a hit, and if Kep did bunt, it would have taken the Indians less than half a second to decide to walk Rios to get to Dunn. pettie4sox
Truth Hickory. These guys have to work counts. Zach made a good pitch on Kepp after feeding him fastball after fastball and then oops... change up. You can't expect to make quality contact after seeing two pitches! Make him throw you something you want to hit!

I thought that streak was beaten? No? EDIT: Nope, I was thinking of Brad Zeigler, but his was to just scoreless innings to start a career. He got to 39.
