ChiliIrishHammock24
Fun with numbers.... Adam Dunn's BABIP is .095 right now. LESS than 1 of every 10 balls he puts in to play are resulting in a hit. Wow.

Dick Allen
If the Sox can score 10 runs tonight, they will have scored the exact same number of runs through 22 games as the team a lot of people want them to be like. Their current opponent.

It means either he is getting extremely unlucky, he is making a ton of weak contact, or he is hitting in to the shift a lot.

southsidepride15
Anybody know what Dunn's TWTW is this year? You can't measure that. What about his leadership and comradery with the fellas..?? Do you have a stat for that!?
witesoxfan
QUOTE (southsidepride15 @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 05:46 PM) QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 26, 2013 -> 05:18 PM) Anybody know what Dunn's TWTW is this year? You can't measure that. What about his leadership and comradery with the fellas..?? Do you have a stat for that!? Yes, his LIA metric (Leadership is Awesome) is actually above average at 1.42, while his JOR rating (Jumping on Roofs - it's my personal favorite way of measuring camaraderie) is down at 6.8 because nobody likes to hang out with a guy who strikes out that much. ChiliIrishHammock24
Too bad Kepp is day-to-day, he was starting to get hits to fall this past series. Edited April 26, 2013 by Chilihead90
caulfield12
Yet Harrelson will defend Dunn to the end and argue his "Will To Win" is higher than almost everyone on the team but Konerko, lol. Never mind that Adam's teams don't have a great history of being playoff bound.
fathom
Hopefully Keppinger is back tomorrow, as the Sox will need all the righty hitting they can get against Price and Moore. If not, you're looking at 4 lefties in the lineup most likely.
caulfield12
DeAza, Konerko and Dunn with the best numbers against Fausto/Roberto career-wise. Not losing anything with Greene defensively....let's see if he can keep up the hot hitting. Pretty hilarious that Ventura doesn't see any better options for the 2 spot, but guess we'll just have to roll with that line-up. caulfield12
Good first inning. Hung a couple of sliders and got away with it, but started to get the feel for the better downward plane breaking slider.
caulfield12
Well, that was uneventful. Going to the 2nd, no offense yet for either team. That ball was killt. Narrowly missing a homer on a center-cut FB....Loney showing some pop. Edited April 27, 2013 by caulfield12
