They need to make TWTW the team slogan for next year. Brooks Boyer would be stupid not to use it.

Unless there's more "rebuilding/restructuring."

Then it's going to lead to more embarrassment for the organization.

They win the division and somehow beat the Tigers, or the Tigers partially beat themselves....it's a great slogan for next year.

f*** that they should just rebrand THIS year, it's early enough, and make an impact is terrible.

Hawk is awesome.

Let's not embrace stupidity.

The Will to Win must mean Hawk loves grinders.

I wonder who in the Sox everyday lineup the past few years has really exuded the will to win?

The guys that can't bunt would be eliminated. If you have a will to win you must learn how to do the little things.

I'd say Paulie has the will to win; AJ has the will to win; Peavy has it; Carlton Fisk had it; Baines and Thomas; hopefully Addy Reed.

Did Hawk explain who has the will to win?? In his mind, does he go as far back as Pete Rose? There probably aren't many players that truly have the will to win by Hawk's standards.

In the MLB NOW video he has used Peavy and Paulie as examples.

Yeah, except Gavin Floyd was more valuable last year than Jake Peavy because of the amount of W's he put up. Because you can't get the team W without the pitcher's W, per Hawk.

Ergo, Floyd must have a higher/better will to win than Peavy.

I would say that anyone that fires Tony Larussa in his first year as GM doesn't have TWTW.

I have a feeling that guys like Hawk know what they say they believe is actually wrong, they're just too stubborn to give up on it.

You might be right, but I always thought the opposite. That they have been rewarded their whole lives for believing in their own bulls***, when really, they were just good enough in some other ways to overcome it.

The Will to Win T-shirts should be sold with Hawk's face on it. I don't think this team has exuded that slogan much the past few seasons. We win some games but I wouldn't say this team truly has the will to win? It's like a lot of other teams. OK some nights; lousy other nights.
