StrangeSox
People can have racist beliefs and be friends with black people. You're actually trying to argue that "i have blah friends"is a legitimate defense against a charge of racism. Same applies to lgbt people. Reddy
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 1, 2013 -> 05:08 PM) But that doens't work. You wouldn't be friends with a black person if you were truly racist. How can you be a bigot ("one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance") if you're friends with them? Logically that makes no sense. Again, I think you're bastardizing the definition here. By this very definition you are a bigot. what? of course you can have friends who are ethnic and still hold racist or stereotypical perceptions of that people as a whole shades. of. grey. the world is really not black and white i promise. EDIT: also, yes, I am bigoted against bigots. Edited May 2, 2013 by Reddy
