KC vs Sox game thread

Recommended Posts

The offense makes this team unwatchable which is sad because the pitching is good enough for them to win.

Every inning of every game is stressful for this piss poor hitting team.

You cannot win in the AL if you cannot hit.

Manto's philosophy seemed bad from the get go as OBP was not something he cared about.

Hahn needs to do something to shake this up. Even if it's just finding someone to platoon with Flowers. Its time to do something Tricky Ricky.

Yep, this is inexcusable. If they think adding Beckham and Viciedo is going to help this lineup against RHP, they are dumber than we think. With all the chances Hahn could have had to be a GM the last few years, it's ironic that this might be the worst spot he could have landed.

Sale was the best option considering they have no left handed relief in the bullpen other than Thornton.

They're also probably trying to save pen for tomorrow when Santiago throws, especially since the whole pen except Heath was used yesterday.

Slappy type hitters like DeAza and Wise who do not walk are not assets especially if they are only average fielders. It goes back to thinking Juan Pierre was a good hitter.

The DeAza regression seems a little out of the blue but thinking Keppinger was an everyday answer was dumb as was the fact that they put no effort in getting bench players.

Flowers s***iness is tolerable if the other 8 guys are doing their jobs.

The entire preseason bench has been moved to starting duty due to injuries (except Giminez).

I get that.

But with someone like Sale, who is in the first year of a new contract and who most people worry about durability down the road, I'm hesitant running his pitch count up early in a season where it appears our team is quite unlikely to challenge for the playoffs
