Eminor3rd
QUOTE (winninguglyin83 @ May 23, 2013 -> 04:01 PM) He never reminded me of Norberto Martin or D'Angelo Jimenez (still playing for Newark Bears allegedly) or Tony Graffanino. Paco Martin!
The Ginger Kid
I remember when he got hurt and I ate another chip. It was a good chip. BBQ. Great chip, actually.
Steve9347
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 23, 2013 -> 03:57 PM) I remember when he was a rule V pick, and I went "who"?
pettie4sox
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 24, 2013 -> 12:30 PM) I have 10 minutes left on the last episode. I need to watch that before coming to your place Sunday morning at 1:50am.
Jake
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 24, 2013 -> 08:43 AM) Pretty sure he's not actually gone yet - but he is on waivers. If he's not claimed, he can be offered back to LAA for some cash. If they say no, the Sox can release him, or they can send him to AAA. THERE'S HOPE

cabiness42
Sanchez was axed because he shares a first name with the worst f***ing umpire in the world and Sox don't want anybody around that reminds them of him.
Heads22
He made it through waivers and will be staying in Charlotte.
Soxfest
White Sox sent INF Angel Sanchez outright to Triple-A Charlotte. A Rule 5 pick, Sanchez cleared waivers and was rejected when offered back to the Angels. He no longer has to be stashed on the 25-man roster and will continue to provide depth in the minors. southsider2k5
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 25, 2013 -> 01:59 PM) This move also clears a spot on the 40 man roster. I would bet money that the next guy claimed is a pitcher.
Jake
Cool stuff. Wouldn't be shocking if we see him back in the MLB at some point
