It has in 4 of the last 5 games now

Although if Keppinger's ball goes through into CF, it's a totally different situation.

Then again, if Koehler could field his position effectively and not fall off the mound....maybe he catches it.

Disagree, this is getting blown up if they're 10 or out near the deadline.

Possibly 6 back of the Tigers after tonight and DET still has two more games to beat up MINN.

A week or so ago, thought 8 games the danger zone (especially with CLE still far ahead of us)...but that 8-10 game parameter spells trouble, especially when considering we'd have to make the case for beating DET head-to-head.

Too bad Sanchez didn't end up with the Cubs...he's 8th in the league in K's and everyone forgets both him and Fister with how much attention Verlander and Scherzer get.

Did you forget we're playing the Marlins two more times and then the Cubs?

If blowing up means trading Crain, Rios and Ramirez....and dumping Thornton's salary.

The problem is that if you trade Rios....you're really going to have a hard time making a case for competing in 2014.

In which case, then you might as well trade Peavy as well.

Peavy would get the best return.

Did you forget this team does not score runs no matter who they play very often?

Um Hawk and Stoney, I'd like for you to know Koehler and Nolasco don't have the best stuff in the Marlins rotation.

Fernandez no question Sox are lucky he is going on Monday.
