winninguglyin83
Is Gonzalez still a prospect at catcher? Between Phegley, Gonzalez, Blanke and Smith, somebody needs to step forward as a legit big-league catcher. Gonzalez was highly touted several years ago -- then fell off the radar Still young for AA (22). Appreciate any insight from folks who have actually seen him. I haven't seen him, but he seems to have fallen off after a few bad years. As of right now, I think Phegley is probably our best hope in any catcher in the minors (even though he is bad at defense). ChiliIrishHammock24
Bassit got slaughtered today. 5 IP, 4 H, 7 ER, 5 BB, 4 K, 2 HR Ravelo has gotten a basehit in all 10 of his games since his promotion to W-S. No power, but is hitting over .550.
caulfield12
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 27, 2013 -> 05:33 PM) Bassit got slaughtered today. 5 IP, 4 H, 7 ER, 5 BB, 4 K, 2 HR Ravelo has gotten a basehit in all 10 of his games since his promotion to W-S. No power, but is hitting over .550. Until Ravelo hits 8-10 homers in a minor league season, he can't really be considered a prospect at 1B/DH. He'll be in that intriguing "Jon Gilmore" category...worth watching for awhile, but nothing to get too excited about, either.
Cerbaho-WG
Two more XBH hits for Phegley, including his 11th HR. Meanwhile, the Sox front office reaches new, unplumbed depths of derp by not promoting him.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Micah Johnson hit his 3rd HR. No SB tonight.
