I rather see Gimenez at this point. We have lost every single f***ing game since Tyler's return and Gimenez caught in the Miami series. Coincidence? Maybe... but atleast Gimenez can put a ball in play.

If you'd rather see Hector, you might as well try Phegley at that point.

Because Gimenez is decent at this point. He makes contact and is a switch hitter. Phegley is still an unknown entity on the mlb level. He could come up and totally s*** his pants.

I think the Sox are just riding out the Flowers experiment as long as possible. They committed to it, and they aren't going to bail in the first half of his first year as a regular.

Now, when August comes and the Sox are 10 back, it may be a different story.

I'm not sure why you think this team will bring him up and eat crow.

They dont have to eat it completely. I dont think they will release Flowers. But he should be relegated to backup.

I dont think they are as committed to him as you think.

How are our hitters surprised that Colon is throwing outside fastballs? Another disgraceful effort by the Offense

Good news is the other team's offense has been even more disgraceful

Dylan is throwing strikes and not walking people. He's probably tougher to square then Colon who is essentially a one pitch pitcher.
