Marty34
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:43 PM) You would have to think that is next. 25 years in the organization. He's due for his promotion...again. Coop is Kenny's spy. No way he gets elevated to manager.
Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:43 PM) You would have to think that is next. 25 years in the organization. He's due for his promotion...again. Let's hope not. Taking time away from him to actually work with pitchers is a bad idea.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:44 PM) These guys flailing at pitches is just soooooo bush league. Doesn'matter who your hitting coach or manager is, if you have Danks, Flowers, Greene you first 3 hitters of an inning, there's a really good chance you will have to wait at least one more inning to score. Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Marty34 @ Jun 2, 2013 -> 05:46 PM) Coop is Kenny's spy. No way he gets elevated to manager. Oh god, you must be Joe Cowley.

I agree but if he doesn't get it next time, he could be gone all together.
caulfield12
Supposedly, Cooper has the highest, or one of the highest, pitching coach salaries in baseball. It's not quite like taking over the White Sox in 2006 or Matheny last year with the Cards.
Buehrle>Wood
I hate Balfour. Where's Orlando Cabrera?

Then so be it, I don't think even Hahn can be intimidated into being forced into a managerial move that will end up backfiring on him.

I wonder what we could get for him. If it is enough I say do it. But for whatever reason I think we won't get any good prospects back
Chicago White Sox
We are so f***ing lucky right there.
caulfield12
Reed in these situations or with a tie...always scary. But let's face facts, our offense isn't likely to score even if they give up one or two "insurance" runs. Of course, if we gave up a crooked number, the Sox would probably score 2-3 in the 9th and come up just short. Chicago White Sox
Alright, I take back any nice thing I've ever said about Jordan Danks.
fathom
Ha, goes to show you how much confidence Ventura had in the Sox scoring in the top of the 9th.
Dick Allen
Jordan Danks kicked the ball. It has to be Ventura's fault, correct?

caulfield12
No excuse there for the runner scoring from 1st at ALL.... Shades of Brent Lillibridge, lol. More horrible defense....supposedly from our best defensive outfielder, whatever that rating/ranking is worth.
Chicago White Sox
Watch us score exactly 1 run in the 9th and lose 2-1.

His defense has been mediocre at best since joining the Sox. Maybe the most overrated defensive prospect in a long time for the Sox.

CaliSoxFanViaSWside
I think it's time to get a priest or somebody to bless the bats and balls on a weekly basis. Add him to the coaching staff.
