Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 4, 2013 -> 03:35 AM) I love how Hawk talks to Dan Hayes like he's a high school reporter. We finally have a lead! Nice! Hayes wishes he was that good.

Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 09:36 PM) Hayes wishes he was that good. Even Dan Hayes knows he's terrible, but at least Hawk is nice enough to drop a "nice job kiddo" at the end of each interview to lift his spirits. caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 3, 2013 -> 08:40 PM) Sure sounds like Hawk feels losing Eduardo Escobar's energy is what caused 2012 Sox to choke. The last time it really felt exciting was when Youkilis was dominating for 2-3 weeks last summer. Then the air just went out of the balloon on both him and the rest of the team...and it became a matter of survival, like the end of 2008 again. And maybe that game where they beat the Tigers the final game of a series, Reed closed it out and it felt like they were actually going to hold them off....alas, didn't work out that way. Pretty sure the lead was 3 games then. Edited June 4, 2013 by caulfield12
