caulfield12
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 7, 2013 -> 07:47 PM) 90 loss team. I see you've given up with your numerical projections of how many games we'd need to win to chase down the Tigers, lol. 7th homer surrendered by Sale already this season. That's a lot for him. Yeah, that's done. Unless they want to go 25-5 the next 30.
caulfield12
Just imagine if we were sitting on a 10 game losing streak, lost the game to the M's after the Reed blown save and then Sale just gave up that grand slam, lol. In the overall scheme of things, 10 games vs. 8 games under .500 won't matter much, but it doesn't hurt quite so much because we escaped that Mariners' game somehow. DJ questioning the decision to bypass Cespedes to put the lead run at the plate in the form of Donaldson, who is the A's leading RBI guy. Viciedo missed another fastball down the middle. Can't hit those at 93-94-95. 90 and below, he won't foul those off....they'll be crushed. DJ getting a bit frustrated with him as well. caulfield12
QUOTE (Knuckles @ Jun 7, 2013 -> 07:55 PM) How's the draft class looking next year? Unless we pass the Astros and Marlins on the way down, there are no sure things past #1 right now.
IlliniKrush
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 7, 2013 -> 08:54 PM) Would that be a bad thing? Well we don't want someone to die, but maybe it'll make him say f*** it, I'm done with this garbage, and he'll yell from his house instead. caulfield12
The voice of Vin Scully, Puig, the Braves....can't stand listening to White Sox games anymore with even DJ in a bad mood. Better to watch the MLB.com Free Game of the Day.

caulfield12
Sale has to be done. 112 pitches. Please Cooper, you're smart enough not to risk the most important asset in the organization just to get him a win. Gillaspie now down in the .250's. Well, that was due to happen. Another week or two, we'll be "clamoring" for Jeff Keppinger, those who still care. Edited June 8, 2013 by caulfield12
caulfield12
Didn't realize Uggla and Heyward were also under .200. Upton managing to outdo Adam Dunn with the lower batting average, except they're still a very good team overall. Fire Greg Walker, haha. (545 strikeouts for the team, incredible). And yet still 6 1/2 games in first place. Even Maholm is outhitting BJ. Edited June 8, 2013 by caulfield12

He was not a great player at WSU and fans didn't even like him a lot in college. He was a hack defensively.

caulfield12
At least Cooper was consistent. He had Sale walk Cespedes, and it came back to bite them. With a second chance for that match-up, he brought out the RH reliever in Lindstrom.
