macsandz
No doubt Hawk will tell us how high Beckham's baseball acumen is and call it a brain cramp next inning. Wait for it...
fathom
QUOTE (Noonskadoodle @ Jun 11, 2013 -> 02:30 AM) Not when he is arguably your best hitter right now. It was just a matter of time before something like that happened to the Sox. Just the other day, Rios lost track of the count when he was hitting. caulfield12
Once again, it's not physical/hustle/effort/exertion errors. It's just horrible mental preparation, daydreaming and complete lack of focus across almost the entire roster this season...carrying over from the 4-11 finish to 2012. Maybe the players simply know how little talent there is pushing them from behind in the minors, so they've become complacent, knowing Ventura has no choice but to keep playing them. caulfield12
No surprises there. Well...the other shoe had to drop with Axelrod's overacheiving at some point. You just can't let Bautista beat you over and over and over again.

EloyRedGloveSWAG
Horrible pitch there. Now Beckham's mental error looms large. Man, what a season it's been so far. We can't catch a break.

mikep
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 10, 2013 -> 08:34 PM) Hawk will defend him. If Beckham was playing for Al Lopez,he wouldn't be on the field, but cleaning out his locker going to AAA.Lopez crucified players who made mistakes like that.
