caulfield12
Beckham with a horrible turn/stumble around 2B. He should have put on the brakes right there. Despite 5 bad plays, we're still winning comfortably...at least for the moment. Edited June 12, 2013 by caulfield12

caulfield12
We'll call that mistake #6, because Dayan makes that play 85-90% of the time. Quintana's best pitch so far tonight for outs has been the change-up. You can make a credible argument we've given them all 4 runs this game, because Encarnacion never should have been up at the plate in the first place if Dayan doesn't airmail the throw to second. caulfield12
Quintana can't survive throwing 20+ pitches per inning. It exposes our bullpen every time when they have to go 4 full innings. Technically, he has a 3.60 ERA for this game. Not getting much help behind him, except for Gordon and Gillaspie making very good plays. Buehrle>Wood
Whats the longest on base streak for a Sox player? Dunn going for 8 with three home runs. About as good a stretch as any Sox. Hilarious.

caulfield12
Mistake #7 this game. 4 on the Cubans, combined. SHEESH. We really don't deserve to win this game. It's almost (and I said ALMOST) to the point where they need to learn that you can't give up 7 outs combined offensively/defensively...and still win. Not rooting for a loss, but pretty much disgusted with our complete lack of accountability.
caulfield12
This organization needs a complete reboot. Has simply gotten stale (veterans like Ramirez, Keppinger and DeAza) and old, in the case of Konerko. It's like they've completely forgotten how to play in the past 9 1/2 months. Just watching the Dodgers with the injection of excitement coming from Puig...there needs to be SOMETHING to wake this team up from its stupor. caulfield12
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 11, 2013 -> 07:53 PM) Nevermind the Sox have won 3 in a row and are winning this one. The Blue Jays are TERRIBLE, except for Encarnacion and Bautista. Wang is TERRIBLE. There's no reason we would be winning this game if we weren't playing one of the worst teams in baseball. It's not a team that's going to be able to compete with the Tigers, not without Konerko and Peavy. Have you watched the entire game? Have you seen each of the 7 mistakes they've made? It's BAD.
