Why are the Royals your most hated team?

I'm so sick of hearing about their prospects and how the Royals are about to blow up and win the freaking World Series. (Especially from half of Soxtalk) Meanwhile, they are still the Royals, a franchise that hasn't made the playoffs since the start of Reagan's second term.

It's opposite day, where the Sox hit pitchers they usually can't touch.

I don't think the Sox have scored more than 4 runs off Guthrie in his last 4-5 starts against us.

2 total runs in his 6 previous starts.

The sad thing for the Royals is it's a Friday night and they have a sellout crowd or close to it and they're just getting buried.

They can't get out of their own way this season.

You are too sensitive Mr Caulfield

You are too sensitive Mr Caulfield

From having lived there almost a decade, from 1996-2007, I have SOME sympathy or maybe it's empathy or both combined.

Same thing with the Chiefs' franchise, which was basically like the Blackhawks or Bears now to Chicagoans but multiplied by 5X because of the loss of the Kings.

If they didn't have KU and MU to cheer for, Kansas Citians would be suicidal sports fans.

I may have to retire undefeated in game threads this year.

I am fine with that. 91 regular season games to go, then 11 playoff games. I expect an 103-game winning streak from you!
