greg775
Now Dunn is good again. For the love of God, Adam why don't you always have this approach? When he just makes contact he's so powerful he can hit a one-handed homer out to cf in a big ballpark like Kauffman. 2.) Bad luck we're getting a bad start today. 4-0 leads are rare for our Sox and it's disappearing.

Jake
Dunn = God By this time next year, he may have a significant amount of trade value as he used to. He could also be valuable to us if we want to try to win something.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 03:18 PM) Dunn = God By this time next year, he may have a significant amount of trade value as he used to. He could also be valuable to us if we want to try to win something. Let's just be honest and hope we can find a way to move most of his contract. BigHurt3515
I wish we had someone else who could lead off because De Aza needs to be hitting down in the order.
greg775
Hector and DeAza with the nice hits, then the bad break on the bullet and the obligatory pop up to end the inning.

greg775
Might be wise for somebody to get a clutch hit, though, if we want to win this game and sweep.

greg775
QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 23, 2013 -> 08:46 PM) not getting anything last inning is going to screw us over in the end Very true. At some point you have to bust the game open when given so many opportunities. Sox don't believe in advancing runners or are incapable of doing so. BigHurt3515
I can't stand Axelrod. Johnson could provide us a better starter then him
BigHurt3515
Stupid to keep Axelrod in. There was no doubt Butler was going to get a hit

caulfield12
Moustakas 3/50 with RISP this season. Well, the inevitable bloom is coming off the Axelrod "rose." Took a lot longer than expected. Well, someone said it earlier....anyone predicting more homers from DeAza than Paulie AND Viciedo would have been laughed off the board.
