Is miles plumlee the real deal? His stats in college weren't overly impressive but he had two huge games to open this year. Considering picking him up in fantasy basketball in favor of varejao or faried (who appears to be on a time split with jj hicks on this year)

Probably not. Good athlete, but he sucks at basketball. Then again, he's going to play big minutes until Len gets his s*** together (if ever), so he's probably a better option than Faried.

How the Hell did this team beat the Heat?

Can't remember if it was the Raps or Grizz (both awful expansion teams). But one of them beat the '96 Bulls. It happens. These wins don't impress me anymore. We know the Bulls can dance all over bad eastern conference teams. The game next Wednesday (at Indiana) will be another legit test.

As we're seeing right now, they have some athletes. People thought Carter-Williams was going to suck this year and drag down their offense, but so far he's a big positive. They're going to have some ugly games, but they don't look like your typical s***-show tanking team so far.

That said, there's a possibility that they go on like a 2-20 run since they have no depth, a spoty defense and guys that will take some ugly shots.

I wonder how much this neck issue is a confounding factor with Derrick.

This Sixers team is the epitome of what you get when you have zero depth. They can really compete when their top guys are on the court, but after player 6 or 7 it's f***ing horrible. Since they don't have LeBron James or Kevin Durant in those 6 or 7 guys, they won't be too good in the long run but they might be a somewhat fun team to watch.
