Not the league. The east. The Bulls wouldn't win 20 games out west with this current roster.

They would still get 30. They're better than the Jazz and Kings, they're probably better than the Suns though Phoenix started well, Denver is terrible away from home and the Lakers aren't exactly great either. Also, Memphis is getting outscored by 2.2 PPG so far and Gasol is out indefinitely. Plus they'd still get a fair number of games against the East.

Probably true, but Nate and Belinelli played huge roles on those teams. Nate won games single handedly. I don't see how the current team scores points unless Boozer and Deng go off. Kirk has never been a great scorer, Noah has never been a scorer at all, and anyone off the bench is going to require a set up before getting a shot.

Chances are about 100% that Kirk suffers some kind of injury, so you're left with Teague or James running the offense both in primary and back-up roles. What little we've seen of Teague proves that he's a d-leaguer at best. He's nowhere close to being ready to play. James showed flashes last time he was on the roster, but he probably lost a step if he's behind Teague in the rotation.

I also think mentally this team is taxed. Last year they played with the hope that Rose would come back and lead them in the playoffs. Now we know a few weeks into the season that's not going to happen. Are they going to have the same fight in them to care about these games? Especially since half the roster knows they won't be on the team later this season or next season?

They didn't have Dunleavy last year and Butler wasn't playing much until Deng got hurt. It largely evens out. Backup PG is an issue, but they were 7-15 in games Kirk missed last year, so it's not like Nate was carrying them in those games.

They couldn't score last year either. You don't need much on offense to win when you're playing top-5 caliber defense. They finished 23rd in offensive efficiency last year and should be in the same range.

It's not like I said they're going to win a playoff series again, merely that tanking isn't a legitimate option unless they move multiple players and get jack s*** back.

It isn't all that surprising -- we saw what happened last time Rose went down. The entire team was so deflated we lost to the f***ing 76ers in the playoffs with a one-game lead. There is such a confidence/motivation aspect to basketball that it won't be shocking if they tank for a while...or perhaps the entire year.

1/13 from three. One three point fg in 53 minutes in 2013. My goodness. Good loss. I think they could go 0 for this trip now.

Go 0 for the rest of the season for all I care.

We need a high draft pick to turn this franchise around.

Sounds so familiar. ;)

Remember when the Bulls were picked as contenders in 07? Yeah, they won 33 games.

Remember when this year's Bulls were picked as title contenders? Yeah, they're also going to win around 33 games.

Of course, there's also the similarity that two Chicago prospects will come out of the draft the following year.

Do your magic, NBA commissioner's office.

After watching the last two games, 33 wins seems very far-fetched.

On a positive note, I was going to go to the game tonight but chose not to, so I'm still perfect for Utah.

Ha, I brought that up with some buddies today, I've rooted against the Sox and Bulls almost completely this year, how f***in weird.

How f***ing depressing. Last year, the Bulls were fun to watch, at least I thought so. This year, not so much, and it's only getting worse. Ugh.

The Bulls were a lot of fun to watch last year, especially in the playoffs.

I don't love rooting for losses in a lottery system. With that said, trade Deng and Noah if you can, let the kids play, and root for them to win -- they'll never win enough for you to feel bad about rooting for it.

Knicks/Nets now a combined 6-20. lol. I picked the Nets to beat the Heat. I deserve to be raped for that.

LeBron with 35 points on 14 shots (11/14). Currently shooting 61% from the field, 48.8% from 3, and 80% from the ft line. If he does 60/40/80 for the season then yeah, they're going to have to change some rules. This is just Amanda Bynes crazy right now.

Tank Commander Marquis at your service.
