Biggest story of the off-season...

Metta World Peace said that he plans to change his name this season.

"We are going to do do a name change, but I can't tell you what it is," World Peace said in an interview with ClevverNews. It's not expected to be a legal change and he said that process is "too much work." MWP is a wild card, so it's not a bad idea to hold off on ordering your number 51 World Peace jersey until this clears up.

Don't you have to play for that to happen?

There are exceptions, MJ in 94 > anyone in the NBA

and he proved it when he came back.

I wish the bulls could trade nothing for something like other teams manage to do.

Pacers get Scola for green.

Scola wasn't that great last year.

But Green was absolutely awful.

A first round pick (lottery protected) and Plumlee are going along with Green. The first round pick is clearly the motivation.

Brandon Jennings' deal with Detroit expected to be in three-year range in excess of $25 million. Rest of trade details still being sorted

Hearing Detroit is now legit contender to snag Brandon Jennings in free agency via sign & trade. Bucks & Pistons in advanced

That's not a bad deal for Jennings, considering Teague got 4 and $32 million.

Detroit has some of the most talented, yet inefficient players in the NBA in Smith and Jennings now. They just need a coach to hit them over the head constantly to be decent.

They're looking at Jennings, Stuckey/Billups, Smith, Monroe, and Drummond as their starting 5. That's not too shabby, but that's also going to put them in NBA hell.

Kind of funny to me how long both of those point guards were on the market. They're not exactly top-tier guys, but they're talented.

They still have basically no shooting, but they're clearly in better shape with Jennings than Knight.
