Blah. Not impressive at all. Especially with JR smith out.

Nobody said it was. It was downright ugly actually.

The Bulls seemed to have dominated for the majority of the game, but the score was close the whole night. Then they forgot how to shoot in the fourth.

Derrick can't score, can't get a foul call, and is absolutely not facilitating for his teammates. We looked our best with Hinrich in the game...and he is bad.

They were definitey better with Kirk out there tonight, that shouldn't last more than another week.

And it's game 2 after a year snd a half off. It was the first regular season home game.

Dude also drained a ridiculous game winner.

Calm down.

What are we thinking we could get trade-wise for him? Think anyone would take that contract though?

The White Sox will take on his contract if the Bulls send their top prospects along with him

Derrick is just not seeing the court yet. I know he was getting a lot of contact, but if I was a ref, I'd have a hard time calling a foul on the defense when the offensive player just ran straight into a three dudes under the hoop.

He's figuring out what real seams are by attacking everything resembling them. I'd rather he let the game come to him a bit more.

You are starting a new franchise in Seattle. The NBA, in a strange move, says you can choose one of two players as your franchise cornerstone whose salary won't count against your cap. You can have Derrick Rose or Stephen Curry. You're an expansion team, so you don't have any existing pieces to consider in your choice.

Who do you choose?

Derrick Rose.

The part you forgot to mention is that I am a criminally motivated psychopath and I kidnap Steph Curry as well.

I'd choose Rose. I'm assuming he gets back. But something about Curry's ankles scares me more than Roses' long injury. Just seems like he'll have nagging injuries like that a lot.

I don't know why people aren't surprised. He hasn't played team basketball in some time (and exhibitions aren't necessarily great indicators). This shouldn't really surprise anyone and with time he'll become a much better facilitator and this offense will start to look a heck of a lot better (and more efficient).

People got too excited from the pre-season. He'll be fine soon enough
