SoxFan1
Crawford was impressive in the third period. Love his fire in the net. Hossa still has the wheels. Saad looks poised for a good season. Kane picked up right where he left off. PK was poor early on, but killing off the 5-on-3 late was wild. Nice win.

ChiliIrishHammock24
PP still needs much improvement. Kruger seemed lost on PK without his partner-in-crime, and Saadfather came up big. Crawford was huge at the end during that 5-on-3. Also, I can't remember the last time I saw a goal given on an empty netter.

Can't remember the last time I saw a delay of game penalty where the player shot it across the length of the ice over the goalie's head. Crawford definitely made some huge saves through out the game, or at least the two periods when they were on my end of the ice. Fun game, only 81 more to go until the playoffs. Hopefully Nordstrom grows into the role in a bit. I questioned keeping him over Perri or Morin actually. Great game tonight tho. Killing a 5 on 3 for 1:26 in the late minutes as huge. Great start to the season. LOVE hockey's back....
Steve9347
That game was too much last night. I got emotional during the pregame video. I would have preferred more exciting music during the banner raising. Also, you'd think Rocky would get better at these speeches. All-in-all, awesome game. This team is going to do some wicked damage this year. The new rules are going to increase scoring a bit, I think, especially for a team like the Hawks that forechecks so f***ing well. A big one is the changed how deep the actual goal mount is to give the players more room behind the net to skate.

Kyyle23
Shortly after Toews took that wicked elbow to the head last night, I saw a tweet that said "tucking in your jersey, Penalty. Elbow to the head, Not a Penalty"

Steve9347
Oh, Patrick Roy. You crushed many a dream of mine as a young Hawks obsessive, but the league has missed you. Thank you for coming back and showing you're still a psychopath.
