And not really a good haul for Lee.

With how big his salary is, I can't believe he could command much at all. $25 million per for that many years is just a huge commitment/risk

That is a f***ton of salary going to the Red Sox

The Red Sox can afford it, and I'm sure the Phillies are throwing in probably around 20 million or so over the length of Lee's contract. Phillies probably got a really nice package by throwing in some cash.

Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal 28s

Whatever is going on with #RedSox - if anything - does not involve Cliff Lee.

Chris Sale!

WTF that would be a great return for Peavy and Lindstrom. A pipe dream but not good enough for sale

If Cliff Lee isn't involved, than there is either a trade coming out of no where, or the Red Sox are taking this whole misdirection game to a whole nother level, or there were just a whole bunch of coincidences going on tonight.

Jackie Bradley Jr. has a very minor elbow injury that caused him to leave the Pawtucket Red Sox game, our @ChrisCotillo hears. No trade.

Makes me wonder if Iglesias could be involved in a Sox deal.
