flavum
Looks like a Chris Sale/Matt Moore rematch at TB next Saturday. That was the best game of the year last year.

flavum
QUOTE (Dizzy Sox @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 03:07 PM) 123 pitches. WTF Robin? That should be a media question after the game.
Cerbaho-WG
So glad that Ventura has his head so far up his ass that he leaves his ace on the mound to throw 120+ pitches with the team down 3 runs in the 8th, and 14 games under .500 in late June. Incredible.
flavum
Sale-- 15 starts, 106.1 innings, averages just over 7 per start.
greg775
You can't lose 4 games in a row to Cleveland at home in June. Robin should be replaced after the game (Sox too cheap to do so, however; would have to pay another body).
CaliSoxFanViaSWside
QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 30, 2013 -> 12:56 PM) He hit that ball hard. It was just right at the 3rd baseman. Ahead in the count you just have to let a low pitch go. He hit a pitcher's pitch. Bad approach.

I'm at the point where I don't care what they do with Ventura the rest of the season, but he definitely should be replaced after this season. He's not part of the future, so end it after this year. TaylorStSox
I wonder is there's another franchise in sports that has fans who constantly complain about the team being cheap despite being in the top 10 in payroll for the last decade or so.
fathom
That didn't take long, as Keppinger is now only 3 pts behind Gillaspie in batting average.

Do you really think if Ventura(smart baseball guy) had better he wouldn't be using them?? This bunch sucks nothing Ventura can really do.
