WTF I hate this guy Pretty gutsy on his part to wait until the 8th inning of the last game before the trade deadline to fake an injury to avoid a trade. It's pretty damn impressive that he's able to intentionally foul the ball off his ankle, shows incredible bat control, could this actually backfire on him and increase his trade value? oldsox
With Rios hurting himself, does that mean Sox will trade Casper Wells instead?

DirtySox
Ken Rosenthal @Ken_Rosenthal 46s Word from #WhiteSox is that Rios is fine after fouling a ball off his left foot. At this point, however, does not appear likely to be moved. Expand
DirtySox
Jeff Passan @JeffPassan 13s Pirates have no plans to move Class A standout Tyler Glasnow. Still plenty in system to get Bud Norris. Alex Rios remains a target as well. Expand
nickofypres
In theory: with the money they saved with the Peavy deal, the Sox can now eat money in a Rios, and Ramirez, trade right?

greg775
Any chance the Yankees want Rios? If they take him, again they'll probably take on his whole contract like Boston did re. Peavy. I hope it's Jerry-mandated that the Sox don't pay more than 2-3 million of Rios' deal for the team dumb enough to take him. TRADE RIOS!!! FREE GARCIA FOR RIGHT FIELD NOW!!
