And when was the comment made? Last night when he addressed the Peavy deal? This morning at 8 AM? 10 minutes ago?

Wait until 3:30 and we can figure out what moves were made.

I hope he can make a few more deals. There are still several Sox players that I don't want to watch play anymore. Yesterday they traded a guy I did like.

Don't believe Hahn for a second, yet, for some reason I'm still pessimistic that we make another move.

We are, however, definitely closing in on the point where we can make fun of the Pirates for standing pat, since it has worked so well for them the last couple years.

Time running out to move Alex Rios. Last comment from Rick Hahn: "There is no urgency to make additional deals."

Sorry Hahn feels that way. I think it is bluff 101.

I don't know if we are in any position to be making fun of the Pirates :)

Huntington has done a hell of a job with them in a few short years.

And yet they've already squandered 2 chances at a playoff birth by not making deadline moves and then falling apart in the 2nd half.

MLB tends to not be kind to teams that just assume they'll be even more competitive next year.

Or maybe they exhibited patience which will enable one hell of a run here...

They're actually well ahead of schedule. They are winning this year with a retread pitching staff. Just wait til Cole and Taillon and others really come into their own.

Mike Rizzo is learning that lesson

I'm good with keeping Rios

I am going to talk myself into it too. His value seems to be quite low right now, let's see what the off-season brings. Also, this may mean Garcia gets to spend more time in the minors, which I think he needs.
