Can't think of one thing he does well.

He's pretty close to being a zero-tool player. I've always thought his defense was severely overrated, but I'm not sure what defensive metrics say about him.

Was rios booed in his 1st at bat? I really hope so,tired of his attitude...

I wish he'd been booed as well, but he's not worth expending the energy on. Hopefully we'll be rid of him soon.

The eye test tells me he blows.

His D has been bad ever since the back problems cropped up.

Yep, him/Flowers/Axelrod just don't seem like they can cut it at the MLB level.

I always thought Axelrod's place on the roster, if he has one, is the old DJ Carrasco garbageman/innings eater/emergency starter role.

Axelrod will wind up hanging on at the big league level for a fairly long time as a 5th/6th starter I'll bet. Flowers, not sure if he can hang on as an adequate backup or not.

Morel, who knows.

I wonder how many 27 year olds with horrible stuff and a career ERA of 5.10 get a lot of chances in today's baseball?

Great piece of hitting Rios.

Comcast on Yahoo sports reported Rios upset with Ventura for taking him out of last night's game. "Ventura should have spoken to me privately."

I hope he got a college degree, because his stuff belongs back in the independent league. I don't know how he was so effective so long, bless him.
